During the recent State of the City address, the Lomita Chamber of Commerce unveiled their new program for calendar year 2020 called Startup Lomita.
The goal of the program is to attract and retain 20 startup and early stage companies into the City. With this new program, the Chamber will provide access to work space, business mailing address, one-on-one coaching and mentorship, business advisory, marketing and legal consulting, and a one-year membership with the Lomita Chamber of Commerce to the first 20 qualified applicants that commit to a minimum one-year business residency in the City of Lomita.
Startup Lomita will reach retail-oriented businesses and an underserved segment of the community including non-brick-and-mortar businesses that also contribute to Lomita’s diversity while providing positive media attention for the new businesses and program’s efforts.
