The community is invited to the Grand Opening Gala & Ribbon Cutting of the newly remodeled Manhattan Beach Toyota dealership on Monday, December 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The 18 month remodel, extending over the 5.6-acre site at 1500 North Sepulveda (PCH) in Manhattan Beach, is epitomized by the entirely new showroom, customer service areas, Parts Center, Service Department and executive offices totaling about 29,641 square feet.
The gala will host more than 300 guests including members of the Manhattan Beach City Council, representatives from Toyota Motor Sales USA, the Manhattan Beach Police and Fire Departments, the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Mira Costa High School and local business leaders.
The remodeled dealership is a living testament to Darrell Sperber’s vision and commitment to Toyota.
“My father green-lighted the entire remodel of the facility. It is something that would have made him proud.” said Brad Sperber, son of the late founder Darrell Sperber. “As a local family-owned business — we’re excited to be in Manhattan Beach.”
The dealership services more than 125 vehicles a day in its maintenance department. Sales of new Toyota vehicles at the dealership have increased year over year 13.35%. The new building has been an exciting and luxurious feature for customers and employees of Manhattan Beach Toyota.
“Since moving into the new building, the dealership has had its all-time record-breaking sales month in July,” said General Manager Ron Vartanian. “Toyota is an incredible organization to work for and we are proud to be a part of this.”
Manhattan Beach Toyota is an enterprising and committed family-owned and operated business. Andrisa Sperber, daughter-in-law to Darrell Sperber and head of marketing for the company, talks about the prestige of operating in the South Bay. “We have a unique advantage here. The dealership is the only one within the city limits of Manhattan Beach,” said Andrisa Sperber. “With this opportunity, there’s also a responsibility and honor to reach out, give back, and provide small business leadership in Manhattan Beach.”
