The Hermosa Beach Police Department is conducting its first ever Winter Holiday Greeting Card Contest!
This contest is open to all Hermosa Beach Students.
What they’re looking for: A hand-drawn picture for the front of the PD’s Winter Holiday Greeting Card. Your design must include a police officer, something from the beach and the words “Hermosa Beach Police Department” or “HBPD.” Contestants must color their own entry, without assistance from other parties. Each child may submit one colored picture that may be decorated with crayons, markers, paint, pencils . . . any method you like!
They plan to use the winning drawing for the 2020 Winter Holiday greeting card and they will be printing the name of the winning child and the name of their school on the back of the card.
Please send your entries to Sharon Stine at the Hermosa Beach Police Department, 540 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 or you can drop them off in person.
Please make sure your name and the name of your school is on the back of your picture. All entries must be received no later than 6:00pm on Friday, October 30, 2020. Entries received after this date and time will not be entered into the contest.

* By submitting a drawing, you authorize the Hermosa Beach Police Department to use the drawing on its Holiday Card and to use your child’s name and school name on the back of the Holiday Card without compensation from the Hermosa Beach Police Department. You certify that you are the parent/legal guardian of the artist of the drawing. You further certify that your child is the original artist and sole owner of the drawing and any applicable copyright.
