Free Virtual Happiness Chat
Held by Beach Cities Health District, this is a casual discussion group with light-hearted activities to spark conversation. Share ideas, tips, resources, jokes, quotes – anything that supports our happiness! Meeting info will be shared when you register at bchd.org/series.

Virtual Mindfulness Drop-in
Take 30 minutes to down shift and practice mindfulness techniques with Beach Cities Health District. The sessions will be led by trained staff. No prior experience with meditation or mindfulness is required. Meeting info will be shared when you register at bchd.org/mindfulness.

Free Virtual Blue Zones Project Cooking Show
Held by Beach Cities Health District, learn about Blue Zones Project inspired food from registered dietitian, Marissa Martorana, and get a taste of how to live longer, better. Meeting info will be shared when you register at bchd.org/blue-zones-grocery-stores.

Free Virtual Families Connected Parent Chat
Families Connected Parent Chat, presented through a partnership between Beach Cities Health District and South Bay Families Connected, is a free support group open to all parents. The session will be led by a licensed professional from the Thelma McMillen Center at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and provides an opportunity to discuss shared parenting challenges. Free Virtual Blue Zones Project Social Hour
Join Blue Zones Project for a virtual “Social Hour.” Enjoy good company and practice some of BZP’s Power 9 Principles of Longevity, including Down Shift and Right Tribe. Meeting info will be shared when you register at bchd.org/socialhour.

Free Virtual Safe in the South Bay Series
Beach Cities Health District’s Safe in the South Bay Series brings health experts, cities, chambers, schools and community members together around this fast-moving pandemic. The live-streamed series will cover a variety of COVID-19 topics, including testing, navigating the new normal, mental health and personal resilience. Free Virtual Mental Health & Happiness Series
Join Beach Cities Health District for its new Mental Health & Happiness Series. Learn how to boost your well-being through evidence-based practices to build resilience, feel more connected and be happier. Attend one or all of the workshops.
