Fill The Pool Fundraiser

South Bay Sports, Health and Recreation announced today that the El Segundo Aquatics Center is kicking off the Fill the Pool spring community fundraising initiative to raise $500,000 towards the completion of the world-class facility.
The three-week fundraiser will run from April 4 until April 24, and proceeds are part of the effort to help raise the final $3 million still needed for the project. The facility is scheduled to break ground on Thursday, April 27, where the total from the Fill the Pool fundraiser will be announced.

El Segundo Museum of Art presents Experience 27: ELSEGUNDISSIMO on Sunday, March 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with curatorial remarks at 2:00pm.
ELSEGUNDISSIMO is a crowd-sourced Experience, based on community feedback. What could be done better in the city? What are the sore spots, the sticking points, the areas that need improvement?
ESMoA Drawing Club

El Segundo Museum of Art hosts the Drawing Club every Friday in April from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
In this informal drawing club, attendees will start with warm-up drawing exercises and then take inspiration from the featured artworks. No artistic experience is required and all supplies will be provided. This program is for adults.
Build a Car with Dad!

The Automobile Driving Museum and fodada present Build a Car with Dad on Wednesday, April 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
At this event, dads and kids will begin with a scavenger hunt to learn about the history of the Automobile. Then, each dad and kid team will create their own car with egg cartons, popsicle sticks, toilet paper rolls, rubber bands, mints, buttons and more in a fun, hands-on art making workshop. Attendees will end the evening with a visit to the 1950’s themed Ice Cream Parlor for sundaes and a car that you can take home.
Mom’s Day Out @ The Point

The El Segundo Museum of Art (ESMoA) opened its doors in January 2013 with the intent to make art more accessible through creative and interactive experiences designed to engage the community.
Founded by Brian and Eva Sweeney and curated by Bernhard Zuenkeler, ESMoA is a non-profit art space located in a new building next to the former post office on Main Street.
Vintage Car Rides @ The Automobile Driving Museum

Southern California has a rich automotive history and the Automobile Driving Museum (ADM) is a favorite of car aficionados.
Located in El Segundo, the ADM exists to preserve automotive history. The ADM has an impressive, rotating collection of 130 classic, antique and historic cars on display.
Several Southern California collector car clubs showcase their vehicles at the ADM and on any given weekend you can find collections of particular makes and models.
